Throughout my life and short career, giving back has been a constant and a joy for me. As a child, my family instilled in me that service is the greatest human value one can pass on to another. My mentors, the public and children have nourished me throughout my life and have brought immense love on my journey as a young singer. They have also played a fundamental role in my growth and transformation.
My personal experience with and passion for the performing arts and world music have led me to realise that the voice is the greatest instrument for personal transformation. Singing brings out the voice of the soul. It acts as a powerful catalyst to shape and support youth empowerment and provides an opportunity to change lives like it changed mine as a child. It helps the youth bring out their authentic voice, vision and values as well as provides the courage to fight for their rights while giving them a sense of belonging. All children should have the right to play, laugh, dance and sing.
It is my honour and privilege to be able to give back through teaching singing to children and youth. They are my greatest joy and soul mission.
I look forward to the journey ahead and thank you in advance for helping give countless students the chance to find their inner light through the amazing gift of music.
